ReCore Delayed Until Later This Year

ReCore is a Microsoft exclusive game (destined for your Xbox One and PC) that was revealed during 2015’s E3, and it looks pretty rad. There’s a dream team behind the scenes working on this thing, including Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune (Comcept) and the studio behind Metroid Prime (Armature). So far the footage looks really promising, and in the hands of Armature and Comcept, I don’t see how this game could possibly turn out as anything other than awesome. In the original trailer that we glimpsed at E3, we were given a release window of “Spring 2015,” which sounded pretty sweet.

As it turns out, Microsoft has decided to pump the breaks a bit and delay the game until later this year. If you’re wondering exactly when that will be, you’ll just have to chill; Microsoft hasn’t set a launch date yet. As with a handful of the most anticipated games of 2016, Microsoft decided that they needed a little bit of extra time to ensure they can meet fans’ expectations. I guess that’s cool. All I’m saying is Star Fox, Deus Ex, Scalebound, and ReCore better be amazing.
