Capcom announced earlier this year that it wants to follow in the footsteps of Square Enix and do more porting. A recent ratings leak suggests that wasn’t just talk. The Korean Game Rating Board rated the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game, just like it rated Resident Evil: Revelations ‘ PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 ports three years ago.
In 2012, Resident Evil 6 came to consoles, followed by a PC port a year later. It was unique as it followed Leon Kennedy, Chris Redfield, Ada Wong, and Jake Mueller as they dealt with the C-virus around the world. Players could go through the campaign alone or with a friend both offline and online.
More importantly, a Resident Evil 6 port would reignite the debate over whether that’s a “6” or a giraffe on the cover.
