Resident Evil: Revelations Has A Release Date

Resident Evil: Revelations Has A Release Date

None

After Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D and its unfortunate scandal over the “one save file” policy that was inexplicably shoehorned into the game, it would be nice to get a portable Resident Evil game that doesn’t blow up my inbox with complaints rumors and misinformation. Luckily, anyone who feels exactly like me will be getting a treat soon.

Resident Evil: Revelations, the newest Resident Evil game for the 3DS, finally has a release date. It will be hitting shelves in the U.S. on February 7, and European gamers can expect to see it even earlier, on January 27. The game is billed as a return to classic Resident Evil gameplay, and its story will connect Resident Evil 4 with Resident Evil 5.

The game will be one of the first games compatible with the Nintendo 3DS Slide Pad Extension, and of course it will also be presented in full stereoscopic 3D. The touchscreen can be used to manage your inventory, the controls will move your character and aim, and the extra shoulder buttons will “let you interact with your environment in new ways.” Simply put, it’s a full-blown Resident Evil game on the 3DS.

I don’t know about you, but I’m excited for this.
