A French blog, which gained fame earlier this year for leaking early information about the NGP (which turned out to be correct), has now revealed “inside information” about the Wii 2. Among this information is some hardware specs, including the fact that the system will sport a three-core CPU similar to that inside the Xbox 360.  Although the interior upgrade is certainly expected, the blog has also made an interesting revelation about the controller, which will feature a six-inch single input touch screen, a camera, and can function as a wireless sensor bar. That’s a lot of functionality for the next iteration of the Wii-mote, but then again, everyone laughed when rumors started circulating that the next DS iteration would have glasses-less 3D. How ridiculous! Still, take this one with a mountain of salt, as we don’t have any confirmation from Nintendo, and probably won’t until June. |
