Rumored Zombie Maps for Advanced Warfare Will be Available Separately

Rumors regarding Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare getting its own Zombies game mode started circulating when a trailer was accidently leaked online, which has since been pulled from websites like YouTube and DailyMotion, according to Polygon .

However, the game’s publisher, Activision, later contacted Polygon after information regarding Advanced Warfare’s Season Pass was announced through a GameStop press release, confirming that the maps for Zombies would be made available separately; you won’t need a Season Pass in order to acquire them. No pricing or launch details were revealed, however.

Before Activision’s correction, it was believed that zombies would be introduced to Advanced Warfare with a Season Pass containing DLC that allegedly almost costs as much as Advanced Warfare itself: $49.99.

According to Polygon, the Season Pass itself would include four multiplayer maps and a bonus map; “Atlas Gorge”. Whilst pricing was detailed, a specific release date was not. Apparently, the first map pack for Advanced Warfare is said to release on Xbox One sometime in January, with a release on other platforms later on.

From what’s known thus far, zombie maps will be available for Advanced Warfare on their own, but they don’t have a release date or price tag (should they have one). With the confirmation of zombie maps, it’s implied that the game will soon receive a Zombies game mode, too.

We’ll bring you more news on this should further information reach our ears.
