Seth Killian Leaves Sony

Seth Killian Leaves Sony

Seth Killian, friend to the fighting game community at large, is going to be leaving his new home at Sony Santa Monica studios. Many of you may remember that Killian left his well-known position at Capcom as a community manager. He was with the company through the release of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Street Fighter IV and was a well-known ambassador to the fighting game community. He joined Sony to help work on the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale release.

According to Killian, he decided to leave Sony by his own decision back in December after being with them for only about a year. He said that he wanted to try and “do his own thing” though he couldn’t tell us what his plans were exactly. He did say that we would get to see what awesome Sony games he worked on in that very short time. For everything else, we just have to stay tuned.

Killian is so well known that he actually has multiple fighting game characters modeled after him. The Street Fighter IV character, Seth, was named after Killian. Similarly, the Divekick character, S-Kill was modeled off of Killian’s appearance and playstyle.
