Shinobi Chucking Shuriken In 3D?

Shinobi Chucking Shuriken In 3D?

None

A résumé discovered on the LinkedIn profile of a former Griptonite Games employee listed “Shinobi 3DS” as one of the artist’s titles. This wouldn’t be the first time a game was exposed by a former employee’s résumé, as listing specific titles upon which one has worked is a common practice in the field. At the same time, such “leaks” have led to speculation on titles such as Jade Empire 2, which may have been in the pipeline at some point, but is no longer a priority for its developer, BioWare.

Lending more credence to this story, however, is an unfinished teaser trailer that runs through the history of the Shinobi franchise, from the original arcade game up through the 2002 Playstation 2 action game, known for its brutal difficulty, high-speed gameplay, and demand for surgical precision among its players.

The studio to which the trailer is attributed? Griptonite Games.
