Silent Hill Downpour Delayed

Silent Hill Downpour Delayed

None

Originally, Silent Hill Downpour and the Silent Hill HD Collection were both scheduled to come out in time for Halloween, and we were all psyched. Personally, I planned to binge play the game on Halloween itself. Well, it looks like we are getting a trick instead of a treat, as the game will now be delayed until next year, so we don’t even get to spend a spooky Christmas in Silent Hill.

Konami has confirmed that both Downpour and HD Remix have been delayed until early 2012. No official release date has been given, so hopefully we will see the game hit sooner than later. And if you live in Europe, you’ll have to wait even longer, as apparently it’s been delayed to Quarter 2 of 2012.

And some more bad news for European gamers: the Metal Gear Solid HD collection won’t be arriving until 2012 either. Konami claims that since the game never had an official European launch date, that this technically isn’t a delay.

It always sucks to have to wait longer for something you’re excited about, and these games are definitely worth getting excited about.
