CALLED IT! Sony’s “slim” announcement today was all about the PS Vita slim coming out in Western territories. But hold your horses Vita fans. Us here in the U.S. won’t be getting it for a while. Instead, the Vita Slim was announced for release in European territories, coming on at a cost of £180 or approximately $300 U.S. dollars. The slim Vita will be launched in the U.S. but it does not yet have a date or price.
Unlike the normal Vita, the slim Vita has a longer battery life, a 5” LCD screen, and a gig of internal memory. It’s also 20% thinner and 15% lighter than the original model and gets rid of the stupid proprietary connector. Will this be enough to get the Vita back in the game?
