StarCraft II: Heart Of The Swarm Beta Is Now Live

StarCraft II: Heart Of The Swarm Beta Is Now Live

Blizzard has recently launched its beta for Heart of the Swarm, the newest expansion to StarCraft II. The Beta is currently private, limited only to press and notable gamers in the StarCraft community. However, the beta will open up to others as time goes on, likely in the same way the original StarCraft II beta did.

If you want to be eligible for the Heart of the Swarm beta test, simply go into your Battle.net account and complete your Beta Profile Settings. You don’t need to be a StarCraft II player to enter the Heart of the Swarm beta, though players who are active in the StarCraft II community will have a greater chance of being chosen.

In addition, Blizzard has given away Heart of the Swarm beta codes to StarCraft II fan sites, game stores, and other outlets. You can always luck out and win a code from them.

The beta is still in rough stages and many balance issues are still being hammered out. Still, if you are a StarCraft fanatic, getting to participate in the beta might as well be an exclusive preview of the final game, even if it is currently unbalanced.
