Stick Of Truth Got Too Big, But That Doesn’t Mean DLC

Stick Of Truth Got Too Big, But That Doesn’t Mean DLC

Speaking yesterday at the San Diego Comic-Con, South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone indicated that their original plans for the upcoming South Park RPG, The Stick of Truth, had to be pared back from what was initially an overly ambitious scripts of about 850 pages. This length isn’t so surprising when one considers that Skyrim was one of their major influences (Earthbound another).

They said, though, that when asked to “cut it down,” they were told that the leftover content could be released as DLC down the road. Neither creator was particularly enthusiastic about that.

The content has been cut from the game itself, but Parker has promised to release it in some form, perhaps as an episode or series of episodes of the show.
