EA filed their financial report yesterday and simultaneously got a chance to brag about how popular Star Wars: The Old Republic has actually become. According to the report, The Old Republic has roughly 1.7 million active subscribers, and is continuing to grow. The report also claims that EA is the number one publisher in the western markets, and that their market share is only getting larger. ![]()

Invitations to the even have been sent out, but don’t get the idea that BioWare is paying for anything. “Guild leaders selected to attend are responsible for all of their travel, food and lodging expenses,” explained BioWare.
