Hardcore fans of the Metal Gear series will finally be able to donate those old CRT televisions to Goodwill. Konami has recently outlined the details on their Metal Gear Solid HD collection at TGS. Here’s a rundown: The MSG HD collection will contain several of the franchises most popular titles, all of which have been retooled with HD graphics. The North American version of the collection will include Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (along with the Substance extras), Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater (which includes the Subsistence extras, including both the original Metal Gear titles), and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.
The HD collection will be available on the PS Vita and Nintendo DS in 2012, but an exact date has not been nailed down quite yet. However, Xbox 360 and PS3 owners can mark November 23rd on their calendars. In fact, you should probably just plan to celebrate Christmas that day too. No holiday will be worth celebrating after November 23rd. By Josh Engen |
