If you don’t know what Ni no Kuni is, I’m not going to hold it against you. Let’s get you up to speed. Ni no Kuni is an RPG that is being made by Level-5, the studio that makes the Professor Layton games. So what’s so important about Ni no Kuni? Well, its art direction, for one. The graphics of the game are being handled by Studio Ghibli, the same studio that animates all of the classic Miyazaki movies you know and love, like Princess Mononoke , My Neighbor Totoro , and Howl’s Moving Castle . ![]()
Only the PS3 version was announced to be translated, with no word on the portable DS version, which has a different story about halfway through the game. There is also no word on a European release date, but since PS3 games are almost always region free, the game should be easy to import. By Angelo M. D’Argenio |
