The Evil Within 2 Creator Wants It on the Switch

The Evil Within 2 Creator Wants It on the Switch

As the release date for The Evil Within 2 draws nearer and nearer, more little snippets of news are releasing regarding it. Most recently there’s been a reveal that the producer and creator, Shinji Mikami would love to bring The Evil Within 2 to the Nintendo Switch.

This might not be too difficult of a possibility, since the publisher of The Evil Within 2 is Bethesda. They are putting DOOM , Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus , and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on the Nintendo Switch. So what’s one more game to add to the to-do list, right?

Mikami himself directed the first The Evil Within and created the series. He said he’d love the chance to bring his game to another console. A funny twist to this hope is the fact that Mikami doesn’t actually own a Switch himself yet. Can someone please get the man a console?

The Evil Within 2 releases on October 13 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Clearly, there’s no chance of a Nintendo Switch port between now and then. But with Bethesda and Nintendo’s growing partnership, it’s not out of the realm of possibility in the future. Would you play The Evil Within 2 on the Switch?
