Titanfall for 360 is “Coming Along Really Well”

Earlier this month it was announced that the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall would be delayed until March 25 , giving Bluepoint Games, the studio behind Titanfall’s Xbox 360 version, more time to polish up the final product before release.

As reported by CVG , Titanfall producer Drew McCoy posted an update regarding Titanfall’s development for Xbox 360 on a NeoGAF thread (username DKo5) in response to speculation regarding its progression.

“Its coming along really well, Bluepoint is full of phenomenally talented devs,” McCoy said in the post. “We (being Respawn) have been pushing for them to have all the time they need to make it as good as possible, which means extra time for them to polish it up. We’d all like it to be day and date, but a better game a few weeks later is better than an unfinished one earlier.”

Bluepoint Games has done HD ports and remakes of games in the past, including the God of War Collection , the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection , and porting Thatgamecompany’s Flower to PlayStation 4 and Vita.

Titanfall recently went into Open Beta as a stress test on the game. What’s more, Titanfall is touted to change the rules of traditional First Person Shooters , and a Respawn is open to the idea of eSports for Titanfall .

Titanfall is slated to drop on Xbox One and PC next month on March 11 in the US, March 13 in the EU and Australia, and then March 14 in the UK and New Zealand, followed by its Xbox 360 release on March 25 in the US and March 28 in the EU.
