Uncharted 2: Among Thieves was announced today via the PlayStation blog and through the cover of the latest issue of GameInformer. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves features the return of Nathan Drake in an entirely new adventure. Mr. Drake will scour the world in the footsteps of explorer Marco Polo and his famous voyages to the Orient. Of course, the title will be a PlayStation 3 exclusive and is being developed by Naughty Dog. This time around, “a free climbing mechanic and stealth gameplay” features will be present, as well as “all-new locations, characters, and a focus on the game’s story.” A teaser trailer was also released that depicts a goateed Nathan Drake struggling in an Arctic waste. By the looks of things, Drake is no longer quite as happy-go-lucky as he was in the first entry. In fact, the cheery tomb raider is downright haggard under the weight of this new quest. |
