Resident Evil 7 rumors have been going around for a while now. Since October 2013, to be exact, when someone from House of Moves’ LinkedIn said she worked on Resident Evil 7 from November 2012 until January 2013. In October 2015, Masachika Kawata, a Capcom producer, said people should stay tuned for news. Now, Dr. Serkan Toto says it’ll appear at E3 2016.
Toto is a Japanese analyst with Kantan Games, and he took to Twitter to share his insight on Resident Evil 7. He said it’s in development, something we already knew, it’ll be a horror game, act as “a clean slate” for the series, and will appear at E3. He also said Jordan Amaro, who did designs for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and P.T. for Kojima Productions, is working on this game.
A new Resident Evil game would be more than welcome. Especially since Resident Evil 6 wasn’t one of the best entries in the series. Imagine a Resident Evil as scary as P.T. ! That would be amazing.
