Microsoft and Capcom announced that Dead Rising 2 is coming to home consoles in North America on August 31, 2010 and hit Japan and Europe on September 2, 2010 and September 3, 2010, respectively. Additionally, a prequel add-on, called Dead Rising 2: Case Zero, will hit Xbox LIVE a few days before the launch of the full game. According to the Microsoft press release, this first DLC will be exclusive to the Xbox 360 and feature “content that will not be featured in the full game.” Details such as content and pricing are not yet released, but expect it to be about a level-worth of gameplay for free.
