Xbox Live Gold Gets Free EA Access This Month

Big news for Xbox One owners with Xbox Live Gold. You’re going to get an extra freebie next week. Starting June 12, everyone with a subscription gets to enjoy EA Access until June 22. You get to play all 22 of the EA Access Vault games for free. Normally, it costs $4.99 per month/$29.99 per year for a subscription.

Here’s a full list of the games, so you’ll know what you’ll be able to play for free.

  • Battlefield 4
  • Battlefield Hardline
  • Dead Space
  • Dragon Age: Inquisition
  • EA Sports UFC
  • FIFA 14
  • FIFA 15
  • FIFA 16
  • Madden NFL 15
  • Madden NFL 16
  • Madden NFL 25
  • NBA Live 15
  • NBA Live 16
  • Need for Speed Rivals
  • NHL 15
  • Peggle 2
  • Plants vs. Zombies
  • Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare
  • Rory McIlroy PGA Tour
  • Titanfall

This also gives you access to First Trial . That means you could play Mirror’s Edge Catalyst for six hours, then get a 10% discount if you buy after trying it.

I wonder if this means something good’s about to come to EA Access? Giving Xbox Live Gold members free access for a little over a week, right around E3, is unexpected. Maybe it’s to give people a taste of something new and good?
