Were you wondering when you’d be able to step into the ring with your favorite DC Comics characters again? It’s going to be sooner than you may think! Injustice 2 has a release date. Ed Boon revealed we’ll see the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One game on May 16. What a great way to start this spring!
This means the next few months will be really exciting. We’ll have four months for new heroes, heroines, and villains to be announced. After all, right now we only know Batman, Superman, Harley Quinn, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman will be returning. In addition, Atrocitus, Blue Beetle, Deadshot, Gorilla Grodd, and Supergirl are the only new fighters revealed. Considering this game is supposed to have the biggest DC fighting game roster and the previous entry had 24 launch and six DLC characters, we can count on over 20 more reveals.
Who’s excited? I honestly didn’t expect Injustice 2 so soon. I was thinking maybe June or July, so Warner Bros. could make it one of their big E3 attractions. But considering how slow the first part of the year can be in terms of game releases, sooner is always better!
