Best Action/Adventure Game Winner 2010

Red Dead Redemption is Rockstar's latest opus. The simplest description of RDR is that it's Grand Theft Auto set in the Wild West, but even that description doesn't completely do the game justice. RDR has one of the most fully realized environments in a game, along with a colorful cast of characters, enthralling gameplay, and tons of things to do, there is very little not to like about Red Dead Redemption.

Red Dead Redemption takes the title as the Action Adventure game of the year for good reason. There is little that the game doesn't throw at you. Gunfights, showdowns, carnivorous animals, thieves, and lawmen mind hunt you…and that's on a normal day.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Box Art

Love him or hate him, Ezio's back in his second outing with the Assassin's Creed franchise. Though Brotherhood isn't a proper entry in the enumerated Assassin's Creed series, it continues Ezio's saga and resolves Ezio's unfinished business with the family that ruined his life. Desmond Miles also plays a much larger part in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and players are able to play through several exciting levels with Desmond's evolving skills.
