What's In Store for the Dashboard Update?

It's almost that time of year again: the time when your Xbox 360 dashboard changes clothes and maybe puts on a little makeup. What does the rumor mill have to say? Will it be a refreshing new look, or, like, a total fashion disaster?

The Hulu Plus update has been a catalyst for some speculation. Judging by some leaked images, it's going to resemble the Netflix app: It'll follow the same menu format as the dashboard, and it will be Kinect-controllable. Other updates will include a new beta program.

Nothing groundbreaking, but we can all use a face lift now and again, right?

Status: Unconfirmed.

Jade Empire 2?

Some guy who used to work at BioWare claimed on LinkedIn that he worked on a canceled game, Jade Empire 2, several years ago.

What's that? You don't care? Oh.

Status: Yawn.
