February 14, 2008 - Trying to make some romantic plans for tonight? It wouldn't hurt to think about a nice gaming session with your significant other, even if he she/he is not completely thrilled with the idea. And you'll probably thinků How is that romantic? - Who knows! Maybe today will be the day you guys start down this new path together!
If you enjoy watching movies side by side, you might also enjoy playing certain games. They will entertain you as much as going to a movie, and they will make you both participate and feel accomplished. To top it off, you get to cuddle on the couch!
Below are some good ideas that might at least make you think it twice. Come on! It's time to play games! Happy Valentine's Day!
Super Mario Galaxy (Wii)
This Nintendo game may be the most innovative of 2007, and uses the Wii motion controls beautifully. The story and the characters are as charming as always, and the gameplay will suck you right in. How about you and your loved one go on a journey to save the princess?
Prince of Persia: Sands of Time (GC, Xbox, PS2, PC)
Even though Prince of Persia became a trilogy, the first one of them was almost everyone's favorite. It was nice and relaxing, with beautiful landscapes and a somewhat romantic storyline. It's easy enough to play even for non-gamers, and solving the puzzles together is a nice challenge.
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (PS3)
If you're looking for a more active adventure with a little bit of romance, this is the one for you. The game looks amazing and the gameplay couldn't be more exciting. It's the perfect mix of shooting, platforming, and puzzle-solving. Maybe you two can even split up the tasks and do what each of you does best. Do you enjoy Indiana Jones-style movies? You're sure to like this one, and it will be a nice addition to your PS3 library.
