5. Alma – Ninja Gaiden

It's no secret that Ninja Gaiden is a rough game on its own, but Alma takes it to another degree. First and foremost, she won't stop moving and dodging your attacks, making combos near impossible and useless. Instead, this fight is about honing the skills you've been practicing all game long: dodging her attacks and waiting for the absolute perfect chance to strike. Patience wins out here.

4. 100 Meter Dash – QWOP

Maybe I'm starting to stretch here at the end of this list, but dude, this is hard. QWOP is a flash game where you must run a 100 meter dash using Q and W to control the runner's hamstrings and O and P to control the runner's calves. It's also absolutely impossible. One wrong muscle movement easily can mean the end of your run. But don't worry, you're not the only one to fail miserably and run backwards.

3. Mike Tyson – Mike Tyson's Punch Out

Come on now. What list would be complete without Iron Mike Tyson? Before he bit off Evander Holyfield's ear, Tyson was actually a well-respected and feared boxer. He was also one hell of a video game boss. Defeating Tyson required perfection; your timing had to be spot on, your punches had to be in the right places, and your dodges had to be carefully planned. If you gave him an opening, it was all but over. Frantic fingers won this classic battle.

2. C'Thun – World of Warcraft

Why not start the list with one of the most recognizable games on the market today? For those who played World of Warcraft during its pre-expansion days, they no doubt know of the perils the C'Thun encounter had to offer. But for those who are unaware, let's take a trip down memory lane. You and thirty-nine of your closest friends would venture into the chamber of this old god and attempt to kill him, undoubtedly failing hundreds of times. The C'Thun fight required everything to go right: DPS needed to be on their toes, healers needed to be on the ball, and everyone had to be placed in the proper location. But before bringing several hotfix nerfs to the encounter, he was proven to be unkillable. Mention pre-nerf C'Thun to any vanilla WoW raider, they will undoubtedly have shivers run down their spine.

1. Queen Larsa – Mushihime-sama Futari

Okay, our fun is over. Back to business we go. Let's take a look at her screen shot.

Somewhere within those purple lasers resides you, dodging them, for approximately six minutes. Good luck and have fun with that. That's all I have to say about this boss.
