Why You Should: Be Excited for Modern Warfare 3!

2. Gameplay Gets Balanced

If you didn't hop into Modern Warfare 2's multiplayer mode within the first week of release, you were probably pretty much screwed. The entire online community leveled up fast, and when you're a level 2 with no perks, rising through the ranks can be quite daunting. However, in Modern Warfare 3, perks will be more balanced and won't affect the multiplayer so drastically. Will level 50 players still trounce the competition? Yes. But the approach in Modern Warfare 3 will make perks more accessible at lower levels and close the gap between new and "pro" players, which should result in a better online experience for everyone.

Why You Should: Be Excited for Modern Warfare 3!

1. Global, Cinematic Gameplay

Modern Warfare 3 is going to be a huge game. Sure, Modern Warfare 2 took us around the world, but the sequel is going to have scope like never before. Everywhere from the London Underground to the war-torn streets of New York will be represented, and from what we've seen, the set pieces will be amazing. Since Modern Warfare 3 is made to be the video game equivalent of a summer blockbuster, atmosphere is everything, and the scripted events in the game should make for an even more amazing experience. Modern Warfare 3 aims to plug you into its world like never before, and with a variety of new places to visit and some truly explosive scripted moments, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is going to be the most cinematic CoD experience yet.

The third iteration of the Modern Warfare sub-series is poised to bring the franchise to all-new heights. With newly-balanced multiplayer, a great single-player mode, and cinematic gameplay that will put you in the middle of the action like never before, Modern Warfare 3 is definitely a game that everyone should be excited to play this fall.
