Killer Is Dead: Nightmare Edition Secret unlockables
Successfully complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding bonus:
- Aim Cut Payment: Perform more than 15 Adrenaline Bursts.
- Alice Bug Payment: Avoid taking any damage from bugs.
- Beam Payment: Avoid all of Dolly’s laser attacks.
- Beast Payment: Avoid getting hit by the big spiky enemy.
- Bend and Stretch Payment: Squat at least 20 times.
- Blood Payment: Absorb over 100,000 fl. oz. of blood.
- Destruction Payment: Defeat all enemies.
- Exhumation Payment: Find all the vintage wines.
- Gentleman’s Payment: Avoid taking any damage.
- Ghost Payment: Successfully complete the stage without defeating many enemies.
- Guard Break Payment: Perform at least 30 Guard Breaks.
- Head Shot Payment: Perform at least 15 Head Shots.

- Obliteration Payment: Use the Sub Weapon less than 50 times.
- Overheat Payment: Successfully complete the stage without overheating the turret at all.
- Rescue payment: Avoid all of Tokio’s bullets.
- Revenge Payment: Attack only David.
- Scarlett Payment: Meet Scarlett three times.
- Shadow Demolition Payment: Kill at least 15 Women’s Shadows.
- Stun Allowance Payment: Do not get stunned by the Skyplane’s beam plasma.
- Toughness Payment: Successfully complete the stage without dying.
Bonus costumes and parts
Successfully complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding costume or part for purchase at the Gift Shop for the indicated amount of money:
- Casual Mondo (Mondo): Successfully complete the game on any difficulty. It costs $500,000.
- Dark Booster (Mondo Arm): Successfully complete the game on any difficulty. It costs $15,000,000 and gives Mondo an unlimited Blood meter.
- Glamorous Fantasy (Natalia): Get an “AAA” rank on the “A Damsel In Distress” sub-mission.
- Legendary Executioner (Mondo): Successfully complete the game on any difficulty. It costs $100,000,000.
- Mika From Outer Space (Mika): Get an “AAA” rank on the “Gift Of The Moon” sub-mission.
- Night Walker (Koharu): Get an “AAA” rank on the “Time Cursed” sub-mission.
- Scarlett The Witch (Scarlett): Get an “AAA” rank on the “Weight Limit” sub-mission.
- Ulti-Mondo (Mondo): Successfully complete the game on any difficulty. It costs $10,000,000 and features double damage, double speed, and makes blood fill faster at full combo.
Cool Kills
Perform the following actions to get a Cool Kill:
- Dodge Burst
- Head Shot
- Adrenaline Burst
Perform the indicated number of Cool Kills to get the listed amount of money:
- 1 Cool Kill: $50
- 2 Cool Kills: $100
- 3 Cool Kills: $150
- 4 Cool Kills: $200
- 5 Cool Kills: $500
- 6 Cool Kills: $25,000
- 7 Cool Kills: $62,500
Removing dodge cool down
Aim your gun to interrupt the final dodge roll. Repeat this to dodge indefinitely.
Removing heal cool down
Activate the Adrenaline Rush stance (even if there is no blood in your inventory) to interrupt the heal recovery animation.
Using corners
Move around a corner when an enemy attacks, then dodge at the last moment. Since the corner is a barrier, you will execute a Counter Shot and kill all enemies.
Easier headshots
If enemies are dodging headshots, perform an uppercut, then shoot them in the head while they are in the air. Note: Use Mondo-vision to make this easier.
Defeating Golden enemies
Perform the combo Drill (removes armor), then a Level 3 green charged shot (stuns), and finish with an Adrenaline Rush.
