Cheat mode
At the options screen, hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 and press X, Up, X, Up, Down, Square to unlock everything in the game.
Extra option
Successfully complete and save the game on the normal difficulty setting to unlock an “Extra” option at the main menu.
Extra 2 option
Successfully complete and save the game on the hard difficulty setting to unlock an “Extra 2” option at the main menu.
Trophies
Successfully complete one of the following tasks to get a trophy:
- Blast Off (Bronze): Complete the “City Lights” stage.
- Make a Wish (Bronze): Complete the “Shooting Stars” stage.
- Chain Prodigy (Bronze): Earn a chain of 30 during a 1P (Regular) game.
- Underdog (Bronze): Win a versus game as Player 1 with the handicap set completely to the right.
- Back 2 Back (Bronze): Activate two Starmines during a 1P stage.
- One Small Step (Silver): Complete the “Snow on the Moon” stage.
- Perfection (Silver): Finish a stage with 100% success.
- Another Dimension (Silver): Complete the “Beyond the Infinity” stage.
- Chain Onslaught (Silver): Earn a chain of 150 in Chain Attack mode.
- Monochromatic (Bronze): Flash a 10+ chain of only one color, outside Chain Attack mode.
- To the Victor (Silver): Watch Ultra Play Movie 2.
- Star Power (Silver): Score 10,000,000 points in a 1P game.
Additionally, there are three secret trophies:
- Where Credit’s Due (Bronze): Watch the staff credits until the end.
- Far Out! (Bronze): Activate a Psychadelic effect during a replay.
- That’s Mine Now! (Bronze): Steal an opponent’s Starmine using a Reverse in a versus game.
