Easy “Sequence Breaker” trophy
To successfully sequence break and reach the generators in each of the two earlier caves, you will need three dynamite and enough health to withstand at least two dynamite blasts. In Cave 1-1, go around to the left side. Find the ledge on the right wall, directly below the top area you are trying to reach. Throw a dynamite downward. Hold [Left] just as it explodes. You must curve around the edge of the top platform in mid-flight, then hold [Right] again to land on the top platform. Proceed through the generator cave, and use a steam jump at the vertical laser section. Stand on the edge of one of the laser-targeted blocks. If positioned correctly, you will not take damage. Go back and heal. In Cave 2-3, go to the gap below the vertical opening, then dynamite jump directly up, collecting the minerals on the right, if desired. In the generator area, use a second dynamite jump after the uranium hallway and the Shiners. Make sure you have enough health for that section. You will get the “Sequence Breaker” trophy after you break both generators.
Trophies
Successfully complete one of the following tasks to get a trophy:
- Two Kinds of People (Bronze): Complete the game with more than 20000 gold collected in total.
- Quicker Than a Tumbleweed (Bronze): Complete the game in less than 2 hours, 30 minutes.
- Shine on, You Crazy Round Thing (Bronze): Complete the game with more than 150 orbs collected in total.
- Just Like Real Life (Bronze): Complete the game without getting killed once.
- Master Prospector (Gold): Get all four gold stars in the same playthrough.
- It’s a Secret to Everybody (Bronze): Find all secret areas in the caves.
- Fully Loaded (Bronze): Maximize all upgrades.
- Rock Bottom (Bronze): Reach the bottom of the world.
- Sequence Breaker (Bronze): Destroy two generators before entering Vectron.
- Turtle Soup, Yum! (Bronze): Defeat a turtle submerged in water.
Additionally, there are four secret trophies:
- Scratching the Surface (Bronze): You found Archaea!
- Mythical Creatures (Bronze): You found the Old World!
- It Goes Deeper!? (Bronze): You found Vectron!
- Assimilated (Silver): Immortalization of a destructible steambot.
