Wasteland 3 Infinite money

First, reach Level 7 in Barter to gain access to the Antiques Appraiser skill. This skill gives you a 5% (1/20) chance to sell junk for x50 its normal value. To guarantee the x50 money bonus, go to a vendor and give all your junk to the character with this skill. Sell the junk. If you do not get the x50 money bonus, simply buy everything back and try again. Repeat this process until you get the x50 bonus. You can get $30,000 payouts. Money is useful later in the game, when items start costing thousands of dollars. Even at Barter 10, you will need money. It is recommended to select one of your party members and make them a dedicated barter/crafter. This one person will barter, upgrade weapons, and generally help support your squad.

Quick leveling and stats building

Set your leader to CHA 10 when starting Wasteland 3 . At Charisma 10, you get a +30% XP bonus, but at Charisma 9, you only get a +10% XP bonus. At the character creation screen, you can immediately give your leader CHA 10 to get the XP bonus. All your stats will suffer early, but you will quickly outclass everyone else in your party. You will be earning skill points at a much higher rate — so you can increase your other attributes quicker. The earlier you unlock the top tier of charisma, the more XP you will earn in the long-term. Since you cannot give everyone in your party CHA 10, it is recommended to give this to your leader for the bonus XP, while the rest of your team serves other purposes —- like upgrading weapons, bartering, lock-picking, hacking, and using a variety of weapons. Your leader is a fighter and a supporter — so increasing charisma early will allow you to build a powerful leader that can heal and fight while giving your party a leadership boost. There is no easy way to farm XP, but at CHA 10, you will not need to farm.

Tarjan Coin locations

Tarjan Coins are rare items that can be traded for permanent stat buff perks, or more powerful temporary buffs. These coins can enhance your heroes or give you a huge edge for multiple hours of in-game time. Tarjan Coins can be used at the Tarjan Machine in the Cabinet of Curiosities at the Bizarre. The machine gives you a random perk/buff — so save before using the machine. Reload the game if you do not get the desired perk/buff. Each character can only acquire one of the six types of buffs —- no two characters can acquire the same buff. There are only four Tarjan Coins — so use them wisely, as each coin activates the Tarjan Machine only once. The following are all Tarjan boosts.

Cunning Of Tarjan: Experience bonus of +25% for 10,800 seconds (3 hours).
Eye Of Tarjan: Permanent Cold Residence +1% and +2 to Penetration.
    Fortune Cookie: Permanent +15 Constitution.
Lightning Strikes Twice: The next five attacks this character makes will have 100% Critical Chance.
Magic Fingers: Barter skill increased by +1 for 10,800 seconds (3 hours).
    Precognition: Permanent +10% Evasion.

Search the indicated locations to find all four Tarjan Coins, which are found inside Toasters. You need either Toaster Repair 3, 4, or 6 to open them.

Tarjan Coin 1: In the Toaster in the Ranger HQ Cafeteria. (Toaster Repair 3)
Tarjan Coin 2: In the Broadmoor Heights bunker. (Toaster Repair 6)
Tarjan Coin 3: Outside the Diner in the Tunnels of the Woundrous. (Toaster Repair 4)
Tarjan Coin 4: In the Union Station bunker. (Toaster Repair 6)

Best weapons

The following is a list of some of the best weapons for each skill and how to obtain them. You can purchase and find these weapons, and some of them have a very small chance of spawning in a loot container.

Best LMGs

Minigun (Heavy LMG): It is dropped by enemies, and sold at Ranger HQ once the story has been progressed past Aspen. Put some damage mods on the Minigun for it to become one of the most powerful weapons in the game.

Best Melee Weapons

Proton Axe (Melee Weapon): It is sold at Ranger HQ once the story has been progressed past Aspen. It is a special axe with a 25% shock chance.

Chainsword (Melee Weapon): It is sold at Ranger HQ once the story has been progressed past Aspen. It is a chainsaw sword with a 100% bleed chance. This weapon is also a reference to the Warhammer 40,000 series.

Best Pistols

The Retirer (Energy Pistol): It is found in Godfisher Farm, Yuma County. Since it is a unique weapon, it only spawns at this location. It is an energy pistol that deals huge damage per shot.

Man Cannon (Small Arms Revolver): It is sold at Ranger HQ once the story has been progressed past Aspen. It is an extremely powerful revolver that shoot spikes.

Best Shotguns

Jackhammer (Small Arms Auto Shotgun): It is found in the Toaster Repair Museum. It is an extremely powerful shotgun that shoots in 3-round bursts. It has the most multi-target damage potential in the game.

Best SMGs

PDW-01 (Small Arts SMG): It is found in the Massacre Site, an open-world discovery location that is only accessible after acquiring Level 2 Radiation Protection. It is a fast-firing SMG that shreds enemies.

Best Sniper Rifles

Eliminator (.50 Cal Sniper Rifle): It is sold at Ranger HQ once the story has been progressed past Aspen. It is a powerful standard sniper rifle that shoots large bullets.

Neutron Projector (Energy Sniper Rifle): It is a reward for passing dialogue checks for the Gipper Armorer. It can also be purchased from the Gipper Armorer, and from the HOGS at the Machine Collective. It is sold at Ranger HQ once the story has been progressed past Aspen. It is a powerful energy-based sniper rifle.

Ray Tracer (Beam Sniper Rifle): It is only available if you side with the Marshalls in their conflict. You can then purchase the Ray Tracer from the Marshalls vendor in your HQ. It is an energy sniper rifle that shoots a beam that damages anyone in the narrow cone. It is like a long-range shotgun.

Secret “November Reigns” ending

To take over Colorado with the Desert Rangers, you have to make specific choices throughout the game. Unlike the other two major endings, this ending requires you to make exact choices —- if you are not careful, you can prevent this ending early in the campaign. To get the “November Reigns” trophy and take over Colorado, complete the following steps.

  • Select Gideon Reyes as your advisor.
  • Earn a “Loved” reputation with the Rangers and Hundred families.
  • Persuade the Gippers to deliver oil to the city.
  • Kill all the Buchanans — Vic does not count if he joins your party.
  • Side with Angela Deth.
  • Choose to stay in Colorado and “Spread Havoc” under your reign.

Some of these decisions have to be made early in the story, while others are only made right in the end-game. There are two other major endings, but this is the third and hardest ending to achieve. It is not necessarily the best ending, but it is the most secretive ending.
