The Sims 2: Pets Cheat Gnome
While at home or on a lot, press L(2), R, X(2), Up. Then, enter one of the following codes to activate the corresponding cheat function:
- 10,000 additional Simoleons
Enable the “Cheat Gnome” code, then press Up, Left, Down, Right, R while playing the game. An option to advance time by six hours will now appear on the Cheat Gnome. Select the Cheat Gnome, then cancel the selection. Press Up, Left, Down, Right, R again. A “Give Sim Simoleons” option should now appear.
Pet Points
Enable the “Cheat Gnome” code, then press Triangle, Circle, X, Square, L, R while playing the game. A “Pet Points” option will now appear on the Cheat Gnome.
Pet Emporium fully upgraded
Enable the “Cheat Gnome” code, then press Right, Down, Right, Up, Right, Down, Right, Up while playing the game.
Advance time by 6 hours
Enable the “Cheat Gnome” code, then press Up, Left, Down, Right, R while playing the game. An option to advance time by six hours will now appear on the Cheat Gnome.
Monkey Paw
To find a mysterious Monkey Paw, sit in a bench at town square. Press X and select “Search Bench”. Try this various times and you will find the paw. This also works if you buy a sofa.
Alien abduction
Use the following trick to have your Sim get abducted by aliens (the icon is a green saucer). Buy a telescope at the “Buy” menu and select it. Choose the “Stargaze” option. Note: The “Spy” option will not work. Suddenly a light will appear from the sky and your Sim will be abducted. A few hours later, the Sim will return. If that Sim has a job, do this on Saturday or Sunday to avoid missing work.
