Blocking bullets
While enemies are shooting, you can block the bullets better by tapping R1 or Circle repeatedly until you are ready to make a move on them.
Defeating Jean
In your first Boss battle with Jean on stage 3, run and hide behind the stagecoach. Jean will run up to it on the other side. He will try to shoot you but cannot; however you can still hit him. Keep swinging your sword and it will go through the stagecoach and hit Jean. Keep this up until he is dead. If done correctly, you should not lose any health.
Defeating Rando
Use a low stance weapon and keep deflecting his bullets back at him with Circle.
Hard mode
Successfully complete the first sixteen stages on the normal difficulty setting to unlock the hard difficulty setting.
Insane mode
Successfully complete the first sixteen stages on the hard difficulty setting to unlock the insane difficulty setting.
Survival mode
Successfully complete the first sixteen stages on the insane difficulty setting to unlock Survival mode.
Play as Cow Girl Anne
Successfully complete survival mode two or more times to unlock Cow Girl Anne.
Play as Way Of The Samurai 1 and 2
Successfully complete all stages (including the extra stages) on the super hard difficulty setting to unlock Way Of The Samurai 1 and 2.
