Successfully complete the game by completing Stage 30 to unlock Sonic’s shoes for avatars.
Creating additional avatars
When starting a new game, you can only create one custom avatar for the campaign. Successfully complete the main story to unlock the option to create new avatars and switch between them at the avatar menu. Use this feature to complete animal-specific missions.
Achievements
Accomplish the indicated achievement to get the corresponding number of Gamerscore points:
- A New Story Begins (10 points): Cleared Stage 1.
- Your Own Story (10 points): Created an Avatar.
- For the Future (10 points): Liberated a world.
- Hope (10 points): Turned the tide of the conflict.
- Ring Enthusiast (10 points): Collected a total of 10,000 Rings.(All Rings held at the end of the stage will be counted.)
- Ring Collector (20 points): Collected a total of 50,000 Rings.(All Rings held at the end of the stage will be counted.)
- Ring King (30 points): Collected a total of 100,000 Rings.(All Rings held at the end of the stage will be counted.)
- Fighter (10 points): Defeated 1,000 enemies.
- Warrior (20 points): Defeated 5,000 enemies.
- General (35 points): Defeated 10,000 enemies.
- Hooked on Wispons (10 points): Changed Wispons for the first time.
- Way Past Cool (10 points): Equipped a part in every slot.
- Running in Style (10 points): Used the Closet.
- On a Roll (30 points): Achieved a soldier’s highest honor.
- Global Allies (10 points): Utilized the Rental Avatar function.
- Rivalry Begins (10 points): Made it into the rankings.
- Sonic Blaster (10 points): Collected 10 Wispons.
- Sonic Jammer (25 points): Collected 30 Wispons.
- Outfitter (10 points): Collected 30 parts.
- Style Hog (15 points): Collected 100 parts.
- Fashion Unleashed (25 points): Collected 500 parts.
- Everyday Enthusiast (10 points): Completed 3 Daily Missions.
- Daily Devotee (20 points): Completed 5 Daily Missions.
- Constant Connoisseur (35 points): Completed 10 Daily Missions.
- Super Sonic Rescue (10 points): Completed your first SOS Mission.
- Freedom Fighter (20 points): Completed 5 SOS Missions.
- Nameless Hero (35 points): Completed 10 SOS Missions.
Additionally, there are 17 secret achievements:
- Sextuple Trouble (10 points): Defeated Zavok.
- Infinite Possibilities (10 points): Drove off Infinite.
- Mean Egg Machine (10 points): Drove off Eggman.
- Courage in Hand (10 points): Drove off Infinite again.
- Bonds of Friendship (25 points): Defeated Infinite.
- Saved the World (30 points): Restored peace to the world.
- Sonic and the Secret Stages (35 points): Cleared all Secret Stages.
- Sonic EXtreme (35 points): Cleared all EX Stages.
- Reach for the Red Stars (35 points): Collected all Red Star Rings.
- Sonic Teaches Numbers (35 points): Collected 3 Number Rings.
- Don’t Lose Count (35 points): Collected all Number Rings.
- Silver Moon Mania (35 points): Collected Silver Moon Rings three times.
- Our Rings are Your Rings (50 points): Collected all Silver Moon Rings.
- Honor Roll (35 points): Achieved highest honors with all races.
- A New Beginning (15 points): Created your second Avatar.
- Sonic Battler (50 points): Collected all Wispons.
- You Got Them All (35 points): Collected all parts.
- Up for Any Challenge (50 points): Completed all Challenge Missions.
The following achievements require the “Episode Shadow” bonus downloadable content:
- Chaos Spear! (15 points): Collected all Red Star Rings in Episode Shadow.
- Chaos Blast! (30 points): Collected all Number Rings in Episode Shadow.
- Chaos Control! (40 points): Collected all Silver Moon Rings in Episode Shadow.
