Once you reach Bree, there will be a merchant cart at the entrance. Talk to the merchant to access the in-game shop, with a "Codes" option in the menu. Enter one of the following codes to unlock the corresponding character:

To make collecting studs easier, jump on top of destructible items, then attack. The studs will funnel into your total without spreading out.
