Successfully complete the indicated task in Story mode to unlock the corresponding character:
- Diao Chan: Successfully complete the "Battle Of Hu Lao Gate" on the Five Star difficulty.
- Dong Zhuo: Successfully complete the "Battle Of Luo Yang" and "Battle Of Mei Castle" on the Five Star difficulty.
- Lu Bu: Successfully complete Chapter 6.
- Yuan Shao: Successfully complete the "Zenith Tower" Request mission in Chapter 6 on the Five Star difficulty.
- Zhang Jiao: Successfully complete the "Yellow Turban Rebellion" on the Five Star difficulty.
- Dong Zhuo: Successfully complete the "Battle Of Luo Yang" and "Battle Of Mei Castle" on the Five Star difficulty.
Successfully complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding treasure:
- 24 War Manuals: Successfully complete game with the Shu faction.
- 4 Gods Statue: Make friends online with several people.
- 5 Colored stones: Collect all five Star Orbs.
- Art Of War: Successfully complete game with the Wu faction.
- Awards Of Valor: Collect a large number of spoils in a single battle.
- Banana Leaf Fan: Obtain an ultimate weapon.
- Book Of Illusions: Successfully complete Chapter 6.
- Bronze Pheasant: Fully level up your city.
- Dragon Ring: Successfully complete a large number of bonus objectives.
- Grand Histories: Successfully complete Chapter 3.
- He's Jade: Have a level 50 character.
- Hex mark: Win a large number of Versus mode battles.
- Imperial Seal: Victory in many battles.
- Meng De's Manual: Successfully complete the game with the Wei faction.
- Mo Xie Sword: Learn all five star Chi Skills.
- Red Hare: Defeat Lu Bu a large number of times.
- Shadow Runner: Win several Legends quests.
- Shan Hai Jing: Collect all Officer Cards.
- War God Statue: Defeat all Musou officers.
- Way Of Peace: Win a battle with every character.
- 4 Gods Statue: Make friends online with several people.
Successfully complete the indicated task to get the corresponding experience bonuses:
Ability Bonus: Have at least three Officer Cards of the same rank (Lord, Off., or Strat.). Three cards of the same rank gives a +3 bonus to all Officer cards; four cards of the same rank gives +5; and five cards of the same rank gives +10.
Element Bonus: Have at least three Officer cards of the same element. Three cards of the same element gives a +5 bonus to each card's attribute; four cards of the same element gives +10; and five cards of the same element gives +20.
Face Bonus: Have at least three Officer cards of the same character model. Three cards of the same model gives a +3 bonus to all Officer cards; four cards of the same model gives +5; and five cards of the same model gives +10.
Force Bonus: Have at least three Officer cards of the same faction (Wu, Wei, or Shu). Three cards of the same faction gives a +3 bonus to all facilities; four cards of the same faction gives +5; and five cards of the same faction gives +10.

Have a character reach level 10 to unlock their third costume.
Get 1,000 kills with a character to unlock their fourth costume. Alternately, complete over fifty missions.
Save the game. Trade the item to be duplicated to another player for no item. Exit to the main menu. Answer "No" when prompted to save the game. Reload the previously saved game. You will still have the previously traded item. Have the other player save their game, have the item traded back to you. Save the game. Have the other player exit to the main menu and answer "No" when prompted to save. Both players should now have the same item.
Start a battle, then immediately quit to get sent back to your town. The buildings in the town will still gain points. Note: The amount will vary based on which cards you have set. You can easily raise the buildings meter to level up; however, you will still need the items to complete the level up.
Have the Maintain Chi and Focus++ Chi. You can execute unlimited Musou attacks without Fury Pills. You will not run out of Fury. This works best if there are enemies nearby that can be used to restore your Fury.
