It wouldn’t surprise most gamers to know that 2K Games is working on a sequel for the critically acclaimed and commercially successful Bioshock. However, according to the Czech website Hrej.cz , the next game in the series will be a prequel. An unidentified source within 2K Games apparently told someone at Hrej.cz that the unannounced game would focus on the fall of Rapture and has a current anticipated release date of summer 2009. Fans of Bioshock can look forward to exploring Rapture a little more in depth and perhaps interacting with the infamous Andrew Ryan and the denizens of Rapture again.
