The Friday the 13th: The Game beta is upon us. People who backed the horror game that pits counselors against Jason will have a chance to sample it this very week. In fact, Friends & Family backers are already playing, while people who pre-ordered get to start on December 20. While you’re waiting for your chance to play on your PC until December 23, perhaps it will help to know that a pretty great selection of characters await you. 10, to be exact.
There are three Jasons you can use. Part 2 Jason has a Pick Axe, can run, sense, and morph, but has weak shift, defense, and water speed. Jason Part 3 has an axe, can run, and has good weapon and grip strength. He has weak sense, water speed, and stun resistance. Finally, Part 7 Jason wields a machete, has sense, water speed, and grip strength as his strengths, but has weak stun resistance, shift, and can’t run.
As for counselors, seven members of Friday the 13th: The Game’ s cast are here for the beta. There’s the balanced Kenny Riedell, with 5/10 points in all seven stats, the incredibly composed and lucky Jenny Myers, Vanessa Jones and her high stamina and speed, Tiffany Cox, with her stamina and stealth skills, A.J. Mason, who’s stealthy, smart, and composed, the lucky and speedy Chad Kensington, and the stealthy and intelligent Deborah Kim. They seem like a good group.
If you’re actually in the Friday the 13th: The Game beta, take this opportunity to experiment. With so many characters available, you could probably get a good feel for the game!
