2011 VGAs: BioWare Shows Two New Trailers

2011 VGAs: BioWare Shows Two New Trailers

None

BioWare had an awesome showing at the VGAs this weekend, showing us two brand new trailers.

First up was Mass Effect 3, which also won the Most Anticipated Game award at Awards show. The new trailer showed off some more gameplay with Shepard ducking in and out of cover during a massive alien attack. The game’s cinematics and gameplay seem to meld into each other far more seamlessly than they did in previous Mass Effect titles. Then we saw a space worm fighting a giant robot. Yeah, I’m sold. Mass Effect 3 launches March 16th next year.

The second trailer was for Command and Conquer: Generals 2. The game will be powered by the Frostbite 2 engine and, as usual, will be an RTS. This is especially interesting considering BioWare hasn’t done a whole lot in the RTS genre. It will be interesting to see what they are able to do with this beloved IP.
