Double Fine, the awesome studio behind games like Broken Age and Psychonauts, has announced the Amnesia Fortnight 2014 game jam. What is this you ask? It’s when game developers produce game prototypes in a very short period of time. It’s basically a way to get the creative juices flowing and come up with new game ideas. And guess who wants to be a part of it? Pendleton Ward!
If you don’t know who Pendleton Ward is, then you haven’t been watching enough Adventure Time ! Yes, the creator of the much loved cartoon is joining in on the game jam and wants to pitch a game or two. Double Fine has set up a website on Humble Bundle for the game jam. Pitching in one dollar will allow you to vote on your favorite three pitches from people other than Ward and play the prototypes of games that win. Beating the average, however, allows you to vote on Ward’s game pitches as well.
