There’s been quite a run of Adventure Time games lately. Some have been good, like Card Wars and Hey Ice King! Why’d You Steal Our Garbage?!! , while others like Explore the Dungeon Because I Don’t Know , well, let’s go ahead and forget about those. A new game is on the way however, and it may be okay to get tentatively excited about it because it has Puzzle Quest in its title.
It turns out D3 Publisher is resurrecting the Puzzle Quest name and gameplay for Adventure Time Puzzle Quest . Jake and Finn will be going around the Land of Ooo, having adventures and fighting battles with match-3 puzzles. You can recruit your favorite characters to the team and participate in daily events.
Adventure Time Puzzle Quest is going to be a free-to-play iOS and Android game, though. That means there could end up being some sort of stamina system at play, to limit how much you can do for free, or eventual challenges that will make opening your wallet pretty appealing. We’ll have to see how free it really is when it releases this summer.
