Left 4 Dead was a great game. Especially since it even had some free DLC that bridged the gap between Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 . Still, there was always a missing piece. We didn’t know everything that took place from one game to the next. That is, until now. Eight years after the game’s release, we’re getting its unfinished, final campaign.
The new Left 4 Dead campaign is called Dam It. It’s free at the Turtle Rock Studios forum for the PC version of the game. It isn’t exactly perfect, since it is unfinished, but it is playable enough. It takes players from Dead Air to Blood Harvest. Plus, there are survival mode maps.
Really, you can’t complain about a free update for an eight-year-old game. Good on Turtle Rock Studios for offering this Left 4 Dead bonus up. Maybe we’ll even see some fans come together to get this thing completely finished?
