IGN reports that Atari will likely pick up Ghostbusters: The Video Game. Though not yet official, Dan Akroyd (the game’s writer and original film member) has stated that the game will be picked up by Atari. Originally slated to release under the Activision label. The game got the axe when Activision and Vivendi Universal merged. Now it looks as though Ghostbusters: The Video Game will release next Summer to coincide with the original film’s 25 th anniversary.
