BioShock Infinite DLC Getting Kill-less 1998 Mode

BioShock Infinite DLC Getting Kill-less 1998 Mode

When Irrational Games first announced BioShock Infinite ’s DLC, Burial at Sea , we were promised entire sections of the game that wouldn’t involve any killing. Unfortunately, Episode 1 of the DLC did not deliver on this promise. There wasn’t so much stealth as much as there were a few points in which you told someone to look in the opposite direction in order to sneak behind a counter.

However, Burial at Sea Episode 2 is going to be the real deal. According to Irrational games, you can complete the entire game without actually killing anybody. Supposedly, their play-testers began imposing kill-less runs on themselves. Thinking that this would be a pretty fun way to play the game, they have introduced a new 1998 difficulty mode. The mode forces you to play through the game without killing anyone. It deeply de-powers you and forces you to try on stealth rather than guns.

Unfortunately, we still haven’t seen the DLC chapter in action, so right now this is just a theory. Who knows, it might be another sky rail gun fest again. We will bring you a full review of Burial at Sea Episode 2 when it releases next month.
