Recently, the folks at Gearbox mentioned that a big add-on for Borderlands was getting prepped for release on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. As it turns out, the DLC now has a name: The Secret Armory of General Knoxx. The news was brought to fans officially through the Gearboxity – the official community forums. In addition to finally raising the level cap, The Secret Armory will provide players “with brutal, never-before-seen enemies in a huge new environment complete with tons of brand new missions.” Additionally, as if you needed any more, “you’ll be able to get guns (even more guns) to give you the firepower you’ll need as you discover entirely new weapons and items!” The Secret Armory of General Knoxx is set to offer “hours of thrilling shooting and looting for Borderlands players!” Below you’ll find the only two screenshots currently available from the add-on.
