Bungie Teases ”Legendary Token of Gratitude” for Destiny Players

Bungie Teases ”Legendary Token of Gratitude” for Destiny Players

Bungie has teased via Twitter that Destiny players will be receiving a little gift some time soon, but it’s not known exactly when players will be visiting the Postmaster to collect their treat.

The in-game item is described as “small,” but it is also “Legendary” as well. Bungie pitched the gift on its tweet as being a “token of gratitude,” and that it’s currently being prepped for release.

It’s believed that this gift may be related to Bungie’s earlier tweet last year by its community manager, David “Deej” Dagu. It was said at the time that “holiday gifts” were to be scheduled to release in January. With that in mind, this upcoming legendary gift may be a belated Christmas present from Bungie.

Another hint towards what the developer’s might be was offhandedly mentioned in the same tweet. “ No one is missing out the Cryptarch’s good cheer,” Deej concluded his tweet with, which may be an indication that Bungie’s Legendary gift might be a Legendary Engram.

Some Reddit users believe that the gift may actually be a new skin for your Sparrow or for your Ghost. Regardless of the speculation, we won’t know for sure until later on this week.
