Capcom Japan Is Asking If We’d Like a New Mega Man Game

Capcom Japan Is Asking If We’d Like a New Mega Man Game

Capcom Japan has sent out surveys to gauge our feelings about a new Mega Man game. It’s a fairly lengthy survey, comparable to the latest Sega survey but, thankfully, contains nowhere near the same amount of questions regarding smartphone games. Instead, Capcom is more concerned with what kind of Mega Man game you’d be interested in. Would you like to see another entry in the main series, like a Megan Man 11 , or would you be more interested in a new spin-off title; a new X game, or Legends?

I suspect this survey might have a significant impact on Capcom’s near future. After all, we’ll soon be celebrating 30 years of Mega Man , and a new Mega Man would be the perfect way to celebrate, wouldn’t it? We’re already getting an animated series and tons of merchandise, it’d be pretty disappointing if Capcom didn’t at least capitalize on that buzz to promote what we’re really waiting to see: a new game. Personally I wouldn’t mind a new Mega Man X , but I’d be thrilled with anything as long as it’s not a remaster.
