Deus Ex: Human Revolution Goes Gold

Deus Ex: Human Revolution Goes Gold

None

It’s been almost 8 years since Ion Storm released Deus Ex: Invisible War, the sequel to the 2000’s popular Deus Ex title. And, even though the sequel wasn’t quite as delicious as the original, I think we can all agree that it’s been far too long since the series has produced a new title. Luckily, Eidos will be releasing Deus Ex: Human Revolution in August, and the title has already gone gold.

Human Revolution is a prequel set 25 years before the events of the original Deus Ex. The game follows Adam Jensen, security officer with Sarif Industries, a company specializing in human/mechanical augmentations. Jensen is forced to undergo an augmentation after an attack leaves him horrifically injured. Needless to say, this augmentation gives him wicked-sweet abilities.

“We couldn’t be more excited that Deus Ex: Human Revolution has gone gold and will soon be in the hands of expectant gamers,” said StephaneD’Astous, general manager of Eidos-Montreal. “As the first release for Eidos-Montreal, it’s impossible to express how extremely proud we are of the final product and all of the hard work that went into its creation.”

Deus Ex: Human Revolution will be available for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC on August 23.
