Dragon Quest XI Is Coming to Nintendo’s NX

Dragon Quest XI Is Coming to Nintendo’s NX

Good news for people interested in both the Nintendo NX and Dragon Quest . The next console is going to get the eleventh installment in the JRPG series. Originally announced for only the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo 3DS, Dragon Quest XI will also be coming to the Wii U successor next year.

There’s actually even better news. The NX version of Dragon Quest XI may be a launch window title. Square Enix wants all three iterations out at once, to avoid spoilers. Which means everyone in Japan will have it on May 27, 2017. That’s two months after the NX’s expected March 2017 launch.

Though, that would only make Dragon Quest XI a launch window game in Japan. While we have been getting more recent Dragon Quest games here, with Dragon Quest VII out on the 3DS this year and Dragon Quest Builders coming to the PS4 and Vita in October, they’re always after a significant delay. Here’s hoping we get Dragon Quest XI sooner, rather than later, on every system!
