ESRB Rating for Super Mario Galaxy Spotted

ESRB Rating for Super Mario Galaxy Spotted

Well we have some good news and we have some bad news; which would you like first? Actually this only works if I give you the good news first, so we’re playing it my way. The good news is the ESRB has “leaked” a rating for Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii U. There’s been no official announcement for the game coming to the Wii U eShop yet, but these ratings are actually pretty reliable indicators. That’s how we discovered Minecraft was on the way, after all.

The bad news is that, while this is possibly the best 3D Mario game of all time, it’s coming as a straight port, like Super Mari o Galaxy 2 before it. Granted, the digital version of these games from the eShop do look better than their Wii disc counterparts, but a sequel announcement or even a Super Mario Galaxy HD remaster would have been an incredible Christmas surprise. Still, if you haven’t had the incredible privilege of playing through this game yet, you should definitely check it out whenever it makes its way to the eShop. For anything less than $30, you won’t regret it.
