Fan-Made Super Mario 64 Sequel Now Available

Fan-Made Super Mario 64 Sequel Now Available

Fan-made Nintendo tributes seem particularly popular this year. It’s unfortunate, because Nintendo isn’t very tolerant of these projects. That doesn’t seem to dissuade enthusiastic coders like Kaze Emanuar, however. This gent has created an extensive Super Mario 64 ROM hack that acts as an unofficial sequel to the game. It contains 130 stars, some new bosses, and a bunch of new levels to complete.

Just like with Pokemon Uranium and similar fan projects, Nintendo is likely to send off a cease and desist order for this game any minute now. You can download it here in the meantime, but don’t blame me if the link is dead when you get to it!

If you’re not familiar with how to use ROM hacks, Kaze has created a tutorial for running the game on his Youtube channel.  We’ve embedded it for you to watch below.
